Appropriate for: Patients and Caregivers

Acupuncture has been used as a health care modality for over 5000 years.  Modern science has begun to understand the secrets of this ancient medicine with the support of studies conducted by leading scientists, hospitals and research facilities all around the world.  There have been many studies conducted and the research has supported Acupuncture to be effective for pain, infertility, insomnia, anxiety and depression, digestive issues, headaches, allergies and so much more.

The therapy involves very fine needles placed along the meridians, which are the pathways energy travels.  These needles stimulate the bodies own natural ability to self heal. The needles are painless and most patients report a great sense of relaxation and calm during and after the treatments.  A course of treatments is needed to remedy imbalances, how many is determined by the acupuncturist.  After the issue has been resolved it is highly recommended to use acupuncture as a way to stay healthy and avoid creation of disease and imbalances. Monthly treatments are called tune-ups.Chinese medicine views the body as a garden that needs to be tended.
